This is another unfinished one from my archive; I have cropped it to the most complete part of the image - the heels.

I really like this crop as an image in its own right.

My mainframe project was supposed to be a selection of dioramas one per floor of a square building each referring to a piece of computing history. My biggest weakness in drawing is people, you can see here my early attempts at isometric people - however I only drew them facing one direction.

@nutomic @SouthernGothHick @anna this timeline seems to elaborate the history of high heels quite well: reinvented by various cultures during history for practical or fashionable reasons, becoming a manly aristocratic symbol in France (and abandoned during the revolution), finally gaining an erotic meaning around the Victorian era (causing men to abandon the style) and ending up where we are today:

Clone discourse

I always find clone discourse funny because it usually relies on the conceit that your clone is an essential copy of you right now, rather than a genetic copy that would most likely be exposed to wildly different social and environmental stimuli over the course of their development.

Even if you tried to mirror them to be as close to you as possible, they’d still be a completely different person. Identical twins are still very different. But that’s just my 2 cents
