The thing I love the most about CWs isn't the "avoid reading it" part (which is a good thing about CWs, don't get me wrong) but being able to hide something so you don't have to *keep reading it*.
This is why I CW most all of my negative rants, because otherwise I dwell on it because it's just sitting there in my timeline.

*selfishness* is putting the _wants_ of yourself over the _needs_ of others.
*self respect* is putting the _needs_ of yourself over the _wants_ of others.
one is disregarding others, one is taking care of yourself.
the difference between the two is the difference between being a friend and a doormat.
*taking care of yourself does not make you a bad person.*
_*taking care of yourself does NOT make you a bad person*_"
Dear people with anxiety...
... I want to share a quick thing I do that helps me accept myself. It's not a fix-all but it helps me to get back on track.
There is a pressure point below the collarbone and if you stroke it (side doesn't matter) it will help to accept yourself and your feelings. It eases the emotion.
As I said, sadly it's not a button to switch off your anxiety-brain, but I wanted to share in case it's as helpful to someone as it was for me.
Take care and feel loved!
I hate people and I'm German which is basically the same thing.
Done with humanity since '87.
